The careers program aims to provide students with every possible opportunity to ensure a successful transition from school to further training and/or employment.
This is achieved by:
a Work Studies Program for all students in Years 9 and 10
a flexible Work Experience Program, enabling students to explore careers options
external workshops and guest speakers
a careers resource room for students to use in their free time
access to the My high school careers and JobJump website, which includes the online newsletters available to all students and their families. Register yourself using the school name for access.
an opportunity to study a TAFE course or participate in the School Based Apprenticeship/Traineeship program.
Our programs ensure that every effort is made to provide students with the opportunities to:
explore their interests, skills, personality and values
research career options
develop the tools to apply successfully for courses and jobs.
